You WANT it so bad it hurts! Your heart screams MINE and your head questions CAN I REALLY LAND IT?

My answer - YES YOU CAN!

There are some steps you will need to take and as your personal brand bestie, I got you. Read on:

 🔥 Personal brand building is all about knowing who you are! Invest in personality profiling through reputable providers who provide reports that you can keep, review, learn from and…SHARE!

 🔥 Soft skills are like GOLD to the modern employer! To onboard a team member who comes with empathy, who is adept at building consensus or the natural ability to activate is only going to make your application SO much more attractive. List them on your resume.

 🔥 Use your personality trait report as part of the recruitment process by either offering a print out at a key interview stage or sending via email as a follow up, post interview.

 Here are some of my faves for personality reporting:

 📋 Myers Briggs MBTI - this is a tool that measures personal preferences and assigns you a personality type from 16 various profiles. Your results will identify where you sit on the scales of Extraversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling, and Judging/Perceiving.

 📋 Gallup Clifton’s Strengths - this assessment tells you what you naturally do best and how to make the most of your strengths whilst managing potential weaknesses. Great for aligning your strengths to your dream job!

There are also several other free services you can find online. Just be sure to pick one backed by science as you want the hiring manager to love your report, not question it!

Finally, make sure you use these reports to you advantage. Perhaps drip feed a few of your personality descriptors on your resume and then take the full report with you. Alternatively you can email to the hirer after you leave in your follow up giving thanks. I personally have used this to land roles and have used it with clients who went on to get roles they never thought possible for them.
